Aurea does have some struggles with staying healthy and getting enough rest but she reports that this is due to being a single mom and we have discussed that this will become easier as Hunter gets older and more independent. 

Hunter has become much more helpful around the house and Aurea is supporting his growth in a mature way. Asking for help and guidance when she needs it. Hunter has been growing in a healthy way according to his Dr. 

Aurea is also accessing virtual Dr's with support.  Aurea is growing and learning how to access the health services she needs.

I will continue to support this growth.

Aurea was really struggling to navigate the medical system a year ago. There has been a lot of growth from my observation.

Aurea has found success in being a single mom this year. I have had the privilege to see both her and her son grow so much. Aurea has stated to me multiple times that she is feeling more confident in her role as a mom. They have taken a trip together with Hunter's grandfather and to Duncan to visit Aurea’s sister and their family. 

I have seen Aurea’s confidence grow in reaching out for help and she has developed a stronger relationship with her Friendship Center here in Victoria. They have been doing checkups with them and Aurea has a support person to help her navigate the services the Friendship Center offers. 

Aurea has also started Hunter and her in a program with her local school to support his growth and socialization. Aurea reports this is going well, and she is happy with Hunter's growth. 

A year ago, Aurea was very hesitant to build new relationships. I see her feel more confident in this, and growth in her social skills as a result.

Aurea has focused on learning skills in the kitchen. She has been opening her horizons and is enjoying cooking. Aurea has stated that she doesn’t think baking is for her, but she has tried a few times. We made sugar cookies together for Christmas. This also gave Aurea a chance to practice safety for Hunter in the kitchen. Working with Hunter on stove and oven safety specifically. We have also worked on making dinners and stretching her food budget. We look at prices while shopping together and Aurea is learning how to figure out unit processes and how to find the best process for food.

Last year Aurea was spending money on convenience foods, and this was a struggle with her limited budget. I see growth in the quality of food she and Hunter are eating. I see growth in understanding ingredients and how to focus on more veggies and protein in their diet.

We will continue to work on exploring new recipes and understanding healthy food choices.

Overall, there has been a lot of growth and change for Aurea. Aurea reports she is happy with how her goals are going. Aurea would like to continue to work on these goals. These goals are ongoing for her. Aurea reports that she feels more confident in her skills and the level of care she is able to give Hunter. Aurea's main focus is to give her son the best!
