Dear Hiring Manager,
I have been living in Sooke since 2010 and have worked as a home support worker in Sooke and Western communities. I am currently working privately for a few clients in Sooke and Langford, mainly for their housekeeping needs.
I have been seeking for a meaningful opportunity to get back to the community that has welcomed me and helped me in great deal when I needed the most. So when I found out about your company and its philosophy, I thought I may be able to do just that.
I consider myself as an open-minded, honest and reliable person who loves to interact with people. I respect and value individual uniqueness and am willing to learn and adapt new things.
I was born and raised in Japan, and have worked as a nurse for several years in Japan. Though English is not my first language, I feel confident that I am competent enough to communicate effectively with others in English.
I work 12-3pm on Mondays and Thursdays, 1-4pm on Tuesdays, 11-2pm on Wednesdays, but these times are negotiable and not definite. I am seeking a part time/ casual position, preferably up to 15 hours per week.
